2007 Doug Doppler studied with guitar guru Joe Satriani and is signed to Steve Vai's Favored Nations label. After 3 1/2 years of lessons with Satriani, Doug attended GIT in Los Angeles. Upon his return, he was hand picked by Satriani to take over the teaching duties at his now infamous, Berkeley, CA teaching studio. Doug lives in San Francisco with his equally talented wife, Melissa.

2007 Daniel Martin has been a professional guitarist for over 20 years. Daniel and his wife Viviane, who is also an accomplished musician, frequently conduct jazz clinics across Western Canada. Versatile in all styles, Guitar Church is pleased to add Daniel to our repertoire of excellent instructors. Daniel lives in Calgary and is on staff at the Calgary Life Centre.

2008 James Fry is a worship leader, recording artist and Luthier. James is certified as a Technician to repair some of the world's best known guitars such as Martin, Taylor, Fender and Gibson. James lives in Calgary and is on staff with Long and McQuade as their in house Guitar Maintenance Specialist.

2007 Julian Tubb is a world class Luthier who lives in Sundre, Alberta. Julian's custom made guitars are prized possessions and highly sought after by collectors from near and far. Celebrities such as Paul Brant have their instruments serviced under Julian's meticulous care.

2007 Rodney Hennessey is a session player and recording enthusiast from Edmonton Alberta. Originally from the friendly province of PEI, Rodney has toured and played with some of the east coast's finest musicians.

2008 Codi Kreil is one of Red Deer's best kept secrets as a musical artist. Cody is an exceptional song writer, guitar player and singer. She is passionate about her craft and has a super gift in teaching the methods of song writing. This season, Codi will be on staff teaching with Guitar Church.

2008 Steve Alexander works for Roland Canada. Steve is the top guitar specialist with Roland/Boss and has countless years of technical experience with guitars and associated gear. Steve lives in Vancouver, BC.

2007 Darren Regier is a proficient bassist capable of playing any style of music. Darren is on staff with Guitar Church and he is our resident bass teacher. He is also highly sought after as a worship musician. Darren lives in Red Deer, Alberta

2008 Glen Peters has toured across Canada in cover bands. Presently, Glen is the leader of a dynamic Christian band located in Edmonton called Life Atomic. Glen and his team of musicians plan to visit Guitar Church to give members the experience of a live band.

2007 Graham Sharkey is a professional guitar instructor and worship Pastor at Unity BaptistChurch in Red Deer, Alberta. Graham has been on the tour with many well known Christian contemporary bands and is respected as one of Red Deer’s top Christian guitarists.

2007 Dwight Forseth has been a professional musician for many years and is the Pastor of Life Gate Church a vibrant growing church located in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Dwight has been actively involved in the recording industry for years and he presently owns and operates a recording studio.

2008 Kevin Olson is the Pastor of The Door, an outreach church located in the heart or Red Deer. Kevin is also the resident guitar specialist at Red Deer’s Parkland Audio and is frequently sought after for his technical advice on electrics.

2008 Steve Simpson is a highly sought after guitarist in the Christian music scene. Steve has been on the road with Delirious, the Newsboys, Tree 63, Robin Mark and many others. Steve is a pro at creating guitar tones through effects pedals.

2006 Dave Grobe is a seasoned drummer/guitarist and well respected worship leader in the Central Alberta Region. Dave is gifted at the ability to communicate a heart felt message through culturally relevant of music.

2006 Andrew Bartley is a true artist in every sense of the word. He is both a graphics designer and a guitar instrumentalist by profession. Andrew lives in Calgary and is regularly on the tour circuit with his music. Winner of the 2006 Instrumental Album of the Year Award (Canadian Gospel Music Association).
